Here is my problem.  I understand the reason for the translation.  m**** c***.  But I tried those words in the URL and they dont work.  So I am assuming that I need to translate the recording.  I had serious trouble doing the last one because of my ears.  If that is the case, I will never get this one.  I have listened to the recording over and over.  I know it is making noises but cant really distinguish what it is.

okay i think i must be rather dumb but i just can't translate the m.... c... because i just don't get it... do you need to reverse or speed up or do anything like that to the sound?? i have got heaps of different funny words each time i do it and its not working for me

There's no need for any more pointers - it is all written this forum already. To summarise - the clue leads you to another animal - and it's in French for a reason. That and the URL tell you how to handle the audio.

anyway, i dont have an idea to solve this one. this sounds drives me mad. i donŽt speak french and maybe because iŽm from germany and none of this languages is my first language i didnŽt get it. maybe iŽm just on the wrong way.
anyone a clue for me?
and please donŽt tell me i should read the postings before. I memorized them already :)

The sound is a motorcycle for me, with an beep in the beginning.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but after solving the level, I'm left wondering: what exactly did the animal have to do with it? In other words, I didn't understand the clue at all. A gentle hint of what it might mean would be appreciated, especially since - weirdly - I figured it out without it :)
