Sorry I don't know what you did wrong, because I did the same thing. I found out all the info I needed, but I just don't know enough French to easily find the

. If it's any consolation, I know I'm not alone in doing it the way you did.

Im not stumped, i know exactly what to do, it just seems my answer is always wrong. Ive resorted to writing down all the possible answers, because as far as i can tell there are only f*** d********* that you can even submit. i just solved this puzzle rather quickly.  i kinda played around and found out the solution paramater, and then noticed that i had a 1 in 16 chance to guess the solution, and then guessed it that way.  i think i know how to go about solving it the way we're supposed to, but i was too lazy to find exact... route.  do you think that's okay?

Well, it seems that you know where your flaws are. Address those first and you'll be able to use either the written directions or the map itself to get to where you need to go!  :)
