Don't be too specific but don't be too vague. It's rather hard to find the right way to ask but imagine yourself in a room with other players. You can't whisper and you need to solve a riddle, you have the right to ask for a clue those who have already solved it, but you don't want the other players to find before you. To understand what you're asking for, one should be at the same step. Don't spoil the steps for the others ! You can use metaphors if you want. Show us that you're smart!
Read this topic carefully, your question may have already been asked (and answered). There's no need to ask the same question twice, even if there's no answer.
If you help somebody :
Don't help him too much, don't deprive him the pleasure to find by himself, just guide him on the way without being too specific, using as much images, metaphors and maybe other riddles as you can. After all, you're smart too ;)!
If everybody plays by the rules, things will be much more funny and no one will get hurt.
Write in a correct language, ban SMS style and try to avoid spelling mistakes as much as possible.
Ah, this one gave me some difficulty. I stared at the images for hour upon hour before I realized I was attacking the problem from the wrong angle.
If you're telling me what I think you're telling me, I think I've already tried it and found what I've been looking for. It's just that when I type it in, I just get this, message. I might need to do something to get it to work.
I've already found the obvious way to go from the original page, but I can't for the life of me find out where to go from there. "can't connect" etc, I hate it when they say it's obvious but it isn't to me...

I know that! but I need some help from there...... anything useful other than saying it's easy? I've already tried the thesaurus for other words other than the 4 letter one for the second page.... and then other... angles, unless there's one that I can't think of here... directions on the compass.... I don't know! The name is incorrect, ok, I've tried a bunch of other names. I can't think of the specific one needed here...
Nobody has ever said that it's easy. By reading your post it looks like you already know the answer, but it appears you do not have learned from your mistakes.
I'm at a loss... I've gotten to the "can't connect to stream" room, then from there to "i********", and from there to a room that tells me, "That's clever, but no... The error is at the s*****."
But I check the s***** without finding anything (in all the rooms/pages).
I have a feeling that I'm making it more complicated than it is, but at this point I can't see the forest for the trees...
Help!
Whoa, got the answer, but not sure if I was supposed to open the required *** in the address bar or if there is another way you're supposed to do it?

if you've gotten that far, then you know
where the problem is at. Maybe reading the game rules through one more time might be of a little help. A decent knowledge of filename extensions might come in handy for this game as well...

Ah, so frustrating! I'm at where it says it was clever...but I've been checking what I thought I needed to check to no avail. Am I overthinking all this or is there something that I'm just not getting?

I have been looking at ****.htm forever and have found nothing. I have gone to all three rooms and closly inspected everything zoomed in with my monitors brightness up and have found nothing.
I have gone to a site that will give me the html source code and have still found nothing (I dont know a thing about html) but I plugged in ****.*** l***, r****, f**** and found nothing.
I dont even have any leads, I dont know where to go, I just feel lost. Ive been looking at it for 1.5 hours (1/2 yesterday and 1 today)
Please give me a hint?
Don't wear out your eyes. Read the thread again, specifically my first post (#2). Think simply, think logically, and remember to check all the places clues can be found.
Ok, i found a pretty key word so far misspelled in the s*****, and ive tried using that but its not working, am I missing something in the p********** that i just dont know what to do.

I can't get through this level for 2 days :) I can't go further than this "stream error"..
I know I need a new view, but I can't figure it out what exactly you are talking about. I won't give it up! Maybe another hint would help me :)

I know I'm on the right track by putting in i********. But that's as far as I can go...I've noticed that s***** is repeated in all the clues. But when I try to view it, I don't see anything unusual. So where do I go? :|

yeah i'm pretty stumped too, the clue says the answer is on him so i look at the page but don't see much. There's 3 cameras and I put in for the ****** and as usual I see that stream error page but then for some reason people say to look at the s***** c*** and I don't see anything unusual except that the south and the main page has a lot more c***** than the left front right pages. I'm trying to get to the page where it says clever of you like so many people are stumped on. ANy clue to tell me how to get to that dam clever page?

I have no idea what I'm looking for. I've been working on this riddle for over a week now. I even took time away from this game to give my brain a little rest but to no avail I find myself still stuck. That newton quote helped a lot to get to the missing part. But now I'm at the error page and have no idea where to continue on from there.
I've read this thread over repeatedly but I can't seem to figure it out.

I don't know if what I'm looking at is the source you guys are talking about. I use Internet Explorer 7... o_O If it's what I think you guys mean all I see is a bunch of jibberish.

EDIT: Oh wow...It just slapped me in the face. So obvious! Just had to read what was in front of me. I've moved onto the i******** thing, hopefully I'll figure this one out in no time!

And the guy who said to drink some water, you threw me way off! I thought you meant something about the stream! :-p Water...stream, river. Lol, regardless it was a fun riddle to figure out. I feel complete...despite it taking me nearly a month to complete.

You've got the URL, there, hotshot. Try some of your lesser-used mouse buttons and see what pops up.

I have no clue what to do. Am I supposed to see what word the guy is typing on his keyboard? The clue "the answer is on me" led me to think that it was on_me.htm or something, but that's not working. I've gotten to the source of some pages and I don't see any comments except for the usual stuff like . And, I've played with the contrast with all videos, and don't see any words. Could someone give me a hint on where to start.

okay. i went and looked at the s***** and found something that might be an error and that isn't in the other pages. i'm thinking that you don't need to actually correct it in the S*****, but put what you'd correct if you could into where you usually put the answers?
i figured out what the room's name was. but i can't get any farther.

If you're looking at the page with the 3 rooms then, you're at the beginning. As to where to go is simple. You say you see three rooms well, which room don't you see? ;)

To your question - some leves are odd to very slightly frightening, but definitely not horrible. Up to level 38 that is. Naturally I dont know the higher levels yet ;)

There's a better way to find out what program this is created in, or gain more knowledge of extensions. Think of a way you find what files might be included on a web page.
