Breezed through the levels up to this one.  This one I think is the first that does not follow the spirit of a puzzle but relies more on your knowledge of computers, how they work and how they handle text input.  Most people who use computers have no idea what an ***** code or character is let alone how to do multiple conversions of these codes back and forth from one to another to arrive at an answer.  Just my opinion of course, but I think this level falls too far away from the 'puzzle' tree.

meh, figured it out finally.  Not really a fan of this puzzle :p for me it was more luck with google than anything else.

Very tough puzzle. Technically, I believe there is a step missing on the puzzle page between the first key and the second Key. For someone like me who was trying to follow the puzzle instructions completely and precisely, it became an issue. There is a jump you have to make that isn't obvious, which is probably why this level has the most comments in the help forum.

This puzzle is difficult, but I think it would compromise it to change it very much. Maybe it should be moved to a later number, as the difficulty jump is rather significant.

I got fragments of the answer... couldn't find the full mapping to get to the funny symbols, though... was a waste of time, had to use trial and error with the letters I had to get through this one.

I really enjoyed this puzzle!  It's actually puzzly unlike the next one which depends on how well you know a hex editing program :-
props to this puzzle.

Probably one of my favorite puzzles so far.  Very challenging, but with all the binary and XOR research I did, I managed to learn some new things.  The "windows and space" clue didn't even make any sense to me until a few days after I completed the puzzle, but once I realized the significance, I thought it to be quite a clever hint.  Extremely cryptic, but very informative.

Wow...this one was hard. Unfortunately, this was the first one I've had to resort to other measures to solve it. Levels like these just aren't as fun as others. I thought 21 was fun :)

Tough level, but it's actually pretty straight forward if you think about it. I'm just glad I finally got it. :)

I thought this one was pretty good, a little tedious, and even confusing at first, but still good. I really disagree that you have to know about computers to get this one. Just use google or wikipedia to figure out stuff you don't know. I thought this level was more about how well you can follow a set of steps than how well you know computers

UGH!!!  Very hard - this could have been a later level.  If this one was this hard I can't wait to see some of the higher levels......

Finally! I knew it!! This was the final exam of all levels thus far!! It involved both new and previous concepts all in one to make one bad ass level!! I somehow feel much smarter or is it just me?  :)

People, people. This may or may not be the first actual riddle that you have been stuck on for a long time. So let me assure that it will not be the last riddle that will stump some of you/us for days to come. I've noticed that the forums have been littered with multiple requests for assurances, for guidances, for assistances. Rushing will not help you in this game. In your hurry, you will only become more anxious and thus less able to notice the concealed clues. so when you feel a little angst, sip some water; when you feel downright outraged, watch some tv. come back at the puzzle when you're refreshed anew.

And in terms of this level, i will most certainly agree it's quite different from all the rest you have solved right now in terms of the magnitude of steps that must be completed in order for an answer to be achieved. when i was solving this puzzle, i had done everything by hand and although it did seem that everything could have gone wrong, have a little faith in your own genius. don't be afraid to fall. Too many of you already know exactly what to do, but it seems to me that there is a lack of self confidence and thus an inability to fully solve this puzzle.

If you look at your steps bit by bit, you will see that the steps are so many and that it's quite easy to double check your work.

The clue is there to start you along the puzzle, make sure you use the riddle to find your final solution.

I hate this level. really

u cant check if youre on the right way. to much questions left. to much options to go.
i like to learn through OF, but this is like a math/edv test.
very complicated. i agree that it is nice to solve it.
i knew what to do, but even if you know it, i think too many people cant do it. and i think this is why
this riddle should be a later one

Hehe, lucky for me I have to be very precise in my daily job :) A single wrong digit can throw you of course. And I sure am glad that I keep track of what I had to do in the various previous levels. Hard, maybe too soon in the game..but then again..I don't know what is waiting for me once I get further with this very addictive puzzlegame :)

This was...interesting. After 2 days of trying to find the right way to solve this I tried the wrong way and got the right answer. I assume it was the wrong way as it didn't seem to follow the clue and I didn't need to convert to any of the things I thought I would. I'd really like to know how I was supposed to do it, though :)

I'm an ASIC designer in my daily life so I had some fun with this one ;)

Umm... Welll... I liked the beginning at least! I have to say that so far, this is my least favorite level; I didn't like the fact that I had to use this website that I could only find through reading the forums... Although I'm sure it can be found other ways. And yet, I keep playing! w00t!

I kinda enjoyed this one, and I'm sure it would have been really hard for some people, but as I said in another opinion thread, my computers background really made it too easy >.>.

OH my god I finally did it! My main gripe on this would be that somehow I and another gamer managed to get back to Level 1 but with a different URL and it's certainly not clear that this isn't meant to happen!

Bleh.  I think the layout was a little messy.

In my opinion, this level sucked, it didn't work out on my pc like it should have worked out. On the last step you had to use notepad, but when i did that the level 6 way, i got 2 matching symbols, and the rest was just blabla, didn't relate to the conversion table. At last i had to use this nifty link somebody posted in the help forum to get it right.

So it's just as a tip, but i think this thing makes so many difficulties because it doesnt work on every pc. Mayby it's the language package, the os version or whatsoever, but i couldn't get it right with the way you suggested it should be done.

This one was pretty easy for me, but it was nice to see my ideas actually led to the right answer :)
