Edit: AH-HA! Got it! Very clever, although I've seen this tactic used before, it still got me.

Ok, everyone here is preaching patience.  But there is another way of going about it which I used.  And it is using one of your utilities that you have used in many previous levels.  Using this utility will make the answer really stand out.

I'm just completely completely stuck still. Its doing my head in! I feel like I have tried absolutely everything. I hate to admit defeat but I think this one has beaten me!

Au contraire, you do see it! Please reread the following post for the best clues.....#3, #13, #37 & #38.
If that doesn't help, then reread them again. And if that still doesn't help them reread them yet again. etc, etc, etc

well...i have read all of the comments and i think i might have a clue to what the trick is...but i dont know what to do with it

so i have obviously found the .*** thing within the mess and i think the trick has to do with e****....so i am asking whether i am on the right track and if so could i be given some clue to what i should do with my information
